i read all fifteen that i challegned myself with reading - it stretched me to read stuff i wouldnt normally pick up and gave me a new favorite book. fahrenheit 451 is AMAZING! i had never read it before! thanks for running this challenge.
Congratulations californiameaghan! I met my goal but set it a lot lower than last year at two. School was my excuse and was likely the reason I didn't reach the goal in 2008. I also found myself reading books I would not have otherwise picked up and I think that is a great side benefit of the challenge. I also reread a book I had read many years ago in high school. The one that stands out for me, however, is The Grapes of Wrath. I thought the movie was good until I started reading the book. Some of the best literature around has been banned or challenged, so it is a great list to start with. I'm glad you enjoyed Fahrenheit 451. It was another reread for me but I enjoyed it just as much the second time around.
